They may also provide a glimpse into a kid’s future risk. An Australian study found that children who spend a lot of time in front of a screen (TV, computer, or video game) may have much narrower arteries in the eyes.

Too Much TV May Raise Kids Future Heart Risk

On average, the children spent just under two hours each day watching TV or in front of a computer or gaming device and just 36 minutes engaged in physical activity. These narrow arteries may indicate future risk for heart disease.
